End of the Year Update

Hello everyone!
Happy Holidays! I can not believe that 2021 is almost over, where did the time go?
I have been hard at work writing (although my cat, Neko, has done her best to increase the difficulty level by laying on my keyboard or even biting the corner of my laptop when I am not giving her enough attention. But that just makes the act of writing more interesting: making it a combat sport with a cat).
Book two of Draegon Cursed is on its way! I have around 60,000 of my 100,000 goal down, not that anyone is counting ;) I'm hoping to have that cover for you all in March and then the schedule release date is August 2022. If you have not read Draegon Cursed, the first book in the series then what are you waiting for?! You can take a look at that book on the "Books" page of my website. It is available on the Amazon or Barnes and Noble websites or if you would like a signed paperback or hardback you can get that directly from me!
Last update and then I will leave you all to your eggnog and holiday movies. I am writing a new standalone novel! It will be a standalone fantasy novel that will have lots of adventure, some romance, and maybe even a little mayhem thrown in. More will be coming your way on that soon, but for now Happy Holidays and Happy Reading!
Until next time, Kate :)

Hello everyone!
Welcome to my author website: KM Books!
I am a hopefully soon to be actual author. For now though, I am building this website as a project for my Web Design class.
I’ve always wanted to be an author, pretty much ever since I started reading. Then life got in the way and yeah I have written a story here and there, but an actual novel? That’s a dream still in the process of becoming a reality. I also love to read and with that comes looking up author’s websites to see what the next book in a series is or what they are working on currently.
There are some amazing authors out there with absolutely terrible websites. “Don’t judge a book by its cover?” How about by the website? On the other hand, there are wonderful authors with equally awesome websites that are aesthetically pleasing, user friendly, all while promoting their books in the best way possible.
For a long time, I have pictured what my website would look like if I were to finally become an author. But why create a website if you don’t have the content yet? So I put it off and just wrote down notes here and there about what I would like to incorporate into my website when that day finally came. But maybe I have been thinking about this the wrong way the entire time, maybe create the website and the books shall follow?
Yes that was a long intro. So without further ado, my website that I have created is an author website for future author: me! My intended audience for this website would be readers, more specifically fantasy and sci-fi readers because those are the genres that I like to both read and write. However, EVERYONE is welcome! So thank you for checking out my website and I hope you enjoy!
Until next time, Kate :)
